[Resenha] Worth Forgiving (Vi Keeland)

“Michelangelo couldn’t have created a stronger male profile”.

“’Are you always such a flirt?’ (…)
‘This isn’t flirting’, he responds with a sexy grin.
‘It’s not? Then what would you call it?’
His eyes glimmer, ‘Foreplay’”.

They say men like a lady in the living room and a whore in the bedroom. I never knew the sentiment was reciprocal. Until I met Jax Knight. A gentleman in public, a commanding, dirty talking rogue in the bedroom.Daughter of legendary fighter “The Saint,” Lily St. Claire knows firsthand how fighters can be. As the owner of a chain of MMA gyms, she’s no stranger to aggressive, dominating, and possessive men. That’s why she’s always kept her distance. But the day Jax Knight walks through her door she’s captivated by his charm. Stunningly handsome, well mannered, Ivy League educated, and confident, he shatters all the preconceived notions she’d come to think were true about men who trained to fight. But falling for someone so soon after her breakup wasn’t something she’d planned on. And definitely not something her ex plans to allow.

Warning: I read a lot better than I write in English: so forgive me if something does not make sense in the text.

The last book of the trilogy MMA incorporates some characters from the previous books, which unfortunately have not read, if I missed reading? Only in some parts where the characters were presented, but the fact of not having read the previous books and begun the series by the latter book, only whetted my curiosity and increased my desire to read the trilogy from the beginning. So I appreciate the opportunity to participate in the dissemination of release of this book.

Jackson is dealing with the bombastic revelations about the past of his father, unfortunately as a public figure the news doesn’t die anytime soon, and that is precisely why he decides to leave his family not informing about the destination or return. In the meantime, he still needs to take care of his business.

“Michelangelo couldn’t have created a stronger male profile”.

On the other hand, we have Lily, who is beginning to see who Caden (the ex boyfriend) really is, as she said, she doesn’t know when the possessiveness and jealousy began, maybe they were always there and she just did not want to see, but even "unraveling "the problematic character of the former it takes to take action, and attitude mean restraining order - seriously the guy needed one (needless to say it pissed me horrors), even they not being together anymore. In addition to the personal dilemmas and dramas, she has to deal with new investors in your gym.

I can’t say that rolled sparks when Lily and Jax met, but yes there is an undeniable physical attraction between them, and from that moment the insinuations begin between the couple, especially from Jax, which increasingly shows charming and sexy.

“’Are you always such a flirt?’ (…)
‘This isn’t flirting’, he responds with a sexy grin.
‘It’s not? Then what would you call it?’
His eyes glimmer, ‘Foreplay’”.

The most interesting is that the relationship of the characters do not get a moment's notice, is fast? Yeah, but there is a development in the plot that makes the relationship seem believable, a relationship with ups and downs, and consistent with the time in which attitudes are together, more to the front of the book there is a moment of disagreement between them, Lily suspicious of Jax and he "gives up" very fast, some may not like the course of events, but in my opinion made sense.

Overall, I quite liked the book, especially the ending that brilliantly closed the story.
