Now That I’ve Found you (Bella Andre) #Resenha

O artista mundialmente renomado Drake Sullivan não pinta mulheres. Nunca. Drake has never felt this way about anything he's painted...and he's definitely never felt this way about a woman. When they kiss, everything but sweet, breathless desire melts away. But can he convince Rosa to trust--and to love--again after such a devastating betrayal?

World-renowned artist Drake Sullivan doesn't paint women. Ever. Not when he knows all too well just how destructive painter/muse relationships can be. But on the day Rosa Bouchard walks onto the cliffs outside his Montauk cottage, Drake is so captivated that he can't stop himself from bringing her to life on canvas.Shocked and horrified by the nude photos of her that have just hit the Internet, reality TV star Rosa's every instinct is to run from her Miami home and hide. After driving all night, she ends up in Montauk, New York, where she doesn't know a soul and plans to lie low until she can figure out how to deal with the media firestorm--and her own mother, who seems all too happy to sell out Rosa's happiness for more fame, more fans, and more money. The very last thing Rosa expects is to find, and to fall for, a sinfully sexy man like Drake Sullivan.Drake has never felt this way about anything he's painted...and he's definitely never felt this way about a woman. When they kiss, everything but sweet, breathless desire melts away. But can he convince Rosa to trust--and to love--again after such a devastating betrayal?

Now That I've Found You is the first book about the New York Sullivans, but also it’s the fifteenth about the Sullivan family, and is also the next release of the author Bella Andre which hits stores on the 13th, unfortunately here in Brazil there is no expected to launch in Portuguese, but the book can be found in English in vituals stores.

Before beginning the review I’d like to thank the author Bella Andre and Melissa Storm for the opportunity to read the book ARC firsthand and give you my opinion on the newest Sullivan is coming out soon. Also, I’d like to say that my reading and comprehension in English are much better than my writing ability, so sorry for my mistakes.

In Now That I've Found You know we meet Drake Sullivan, a world-renowned painter who refuses to paint people, especially women, but you need to know that he has some reservations due to past and although this may seem a little eccentric at first time, we gradually understand a little more about the reasons why our protagonist has made this decision.

On the other hand, we meet Rosa a star of reality shows that suffers from the invasion of the press in her private life, in this case, Bella Andre delves into a delicate theme of invasion of privacy, which is extremely important to reflect these days, since we constantly see cases of Revenge Porn, hackers stealing private photos, images leaking in the press, or even photos or videos made without the consent of the person affected, the consequences unfortunately can be devastating, so it is a subject that even being delicate should be discussed, but coming back to the book ...

Drake is on the beginning of the book, suffering from a blockade that unfortunately has lasted about two months, and as much as he tries he can’t find the inspiration to start painting again, things change when an unexpected visitor invades part of his property, making he investigate who is roaming around the place, because of this he ends up finding Rosa, who is so far trying to get away from all the confusion that is hanging around her life at this time, fortunately, she ends up finding one of the few people who do not give a damn for television .

Gradually the two begin a cautious relationship where Drake don’t want to repeat some past mistakes (even if they have not been his), and Rosa does not want to destroy the tranquility and success of Drake's life, as she said herself, someone with their problems could easily disrupt everything that he fought so hard to win.

Between comings and goings, we discover small details that led the protagonists to the situation they are in, and we will also reflect on what people are able to do for money, help the family or even to get 15 minutes of fame and fortune, even if it ruins other people in the process, sometimes it seems that they don’t care.

Now That I've Found You follows the same line of the previous books, so if you liked the previous books, the chances of falling in love with Drake and Rosa are huge. Also, the early chapters are very reflective, as we follow the protagonists in their reflections on where they are now. As in previous books, we know a little bit about the previous generation of Sullivans, and if we had delighted ourselves with Mary and Jack, Max and Claudia, here we see that sometimes the things aren’t going swimmingly for some Sullivans. Hopefully in the next books we will see how this darker side will develop and affect the personality of the protagonists next.

Finally, there are two more things to talk about the book, the first is that we find one of the most beloved characters of the Sullivans, but we also have a taste of what's out there to meet all of NY Sullivans in one place, and well ... Good thing comes around.
